We have designed this special stay to experience the better understanding of our culture, customs and traditions while exploring the region of Shekhawati through our extensive excursions, guided walks and crafts workshops which will give you opportunities to meet and interact with local people & families.

Itinerary
Day 1: Pickup from the Delhi Airport.
Day 2: Nawalgarh visit & Cooking Workshop
You will start your day with guided walk to discover painted havelis, traditional Mansions, frescos and the colorful & vibrant market of Nawalgarh
In evening there will be a workshop of Cooking in which you will cook & learn a variety of delicious, healthy and simple Indian dishes.

Day 3&4: Hiking and camping in local family.
Discover the off-beaten tracks with surrounding farms, remote villages and ancient Hindu pilgrim places, hidden in the lap of Aravalli Mountains with beautiful mangoes and palm tree oasis with an overnight camping with a local family.
On next day we will do a hike to experience the beautiful landscapes & trails of Aravalli Mountains and by evening we will be back at Tourist Pension.

Day 5: Excursion: Discover the various towns of Shekhawati.
Today we will explore the affluent architecture of Shekhawati and witness the rare and forgotten art skills intricately executed in the numerous temples, havelis, step wells, cenotaphs and listen to ample folklores with an opportunity to meet the local families to discover the traditions & customs of rural India.
In evening there will be a workshop of Bangle making where you will learn the making of Bangles which are traditional bracelets with shimmering colours worn on both wrists by married women. This workshop will take place at Tourist Pension.

Day 6: Camel Cart Tour & Tie and Dye workshop
Stroll in a Camel Cart, a traditional local means of transport, to discover the farmlands of countryside and to know more about the local agriculture.
In evening there will be a workshop of tie & dye where you will introduced to the process of making tie & dye scarves which is a resist-dyeing technique used on textiles in Rajasthan and Gujarat. In this workshop you will make scarves with simple designs — gifts for friends or to keep for you. This workshop will take place at Tourist Pension.

Day 6: Camel Cart Tour & Tie and Dye workshop

Day 7: Departure
Drop to Delhi Airport or any place of your choice in case if you wish to continue your trip.
