Workshops

Exploring the cultural aspects of this rich and colorful region is also possible. Your "teachers" will be artists and artisans from the local community. When needed, somebody from Tourist Pension will assist you with translation.

We can arrange workshops with local artists working in tie-dye, music, pottery, carving, the region's distinctive lakh bracelets (made from resins), muda (chair making), and Indian cooking classes. Hindi lessons can also be arranged

Prior notice is required to organize the workshops.

Here are some examples of these workshops:

Through this interactive workshop you can learn the art of Tie & Dye. To start with you can make scarves with simple designs to keep for yourself or bring home as gifts.
